Recently heard of Ragda Pattice Pav on the streets of Mumbai. This is our version of making it! Try it, it’s amazing!

Ingredients :

1 cup White Peas
3 cup Water
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
½ tsp Cumin Seeds
4 Green Chillies
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Onion
3 Potatoes
1 tsp salt
¼ cup Water
1 & ½ cup Chickpea Flour
¼ cup Rice Flour
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
¾ cup Water
Bread

Method:

Soak overnight 1 cup of white peas.

Transfer these soaked peas in the cooker, add 3 cups of water, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp turmeric powder. Cook it for 5-6 whistles.

In a pan add 2 tbsp oil, ½ tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp cumin seeds, 4 green chilies, 4-6 curry leaves, ½ tsp asafoetida, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 chopped onion, 3 boiled potatoes, ½ tsp salt, ½ cup of water. Cook it well & sprinkle coriander on top.

In a bowl add 1 & ½ cup of chickpea flour, ¼ cup of rice flour, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp salt & ¾ cup of water. Make a mixture of it.

Take bread slices, spread thick layer of potato filling on it & dip it into the chickpea flour mixture. Make sure you coat it properly.

Now deep fry it in oil, fry until it turns crisp. After frying cut it into pieces & place it in a serving plate. —
Pour ragada mixture also pour green & imli chutney on it. Sprinkle coriander, onion on top & serve!
